Welcome to CAN Project (Cornwall Artist Network)

CAN Project (Cornwall Artist Network) is a small non-profit making organisation that aims to commission contemporary art that engages new audiences. CAN Project have developed several projects since being founded in 2005 and have initiated over twelve new pieces of creative work as well as running community art workshops.

In 2006 CAN Project commissioned and published Watermark, in 2007 delivered Embark: Ferry Art 2007 (monthly shows on-board the King Harry Ferry and later this year CAN Project intend to begin a large-scale photographic project on and about the Lizard Peninsular.

CAN Project is also delighted to annouce that they are in the process of commissioning Embark: Ferry Art for the second year, thanks to support from King Harry Ferry, Arts Council England and University College Falmouth. Artists involved with Embark: Ferry Art 2008 have now been selected and the first exhibition will on-board the King Harry Ferry on 1st May - artists involved include; Benjamin Burt, Hannah Morrison, Mac Dunlop, Ellie Williams, Lise Hovesen & Temujin Doran, Jamie Boyd, Kim Pilgrim
